Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya. A mother and her cub at dawn. When they are young, lion cubs are very vulnerable to starvation and attack by predators; such as hyenas, lions from other prides, and herds of buffalos. Lion cubs are kept hidden for the first 8 weeks of life so that they can bond with their mother and litter-mates. They are very affectionate and love to play with their mother and siblings. Once they are 8 weeks old, they are introduced to other members of their pride.

The paper is a beautiful Hahnemüle FineArt Pearl 285 GSM and the inks are archival grade to ensure long lasting reproduction and quality. Each Open Edition print is printed with a 1 inch white border on all sides.
